Born in the City of Joy, Kolkata, Aditi Ghosh was brought up with the values of Loreto imparted by Sr. M. Cyril. After completing her secondary and higher secondary from Loreto, she studied English as a major from the University of Calcutta. To hone her expertise in training she pursued TEFL in class program from Asian College of Teachers, Kolkata and successfully cleared TESOL Canada Board Exam as well. Aditi stands tall and strong with an experience of 16 years in training adult learners as a professional language and soft skills trainer. She continues to reach out to the millions of lives in the city through the “Rainbow” Project run by Loreto.
Akhil has done his schooling from Kolkata and completed his college education from Pune. After college he worked in the film production houses in Mumbai. Currently he is working as an ad film maker based out of Kolkata. His main interests are films, video games and travelling. His long term goal is to create educational games that will be used in school curriculums as subjects. These games will be role playing simulation games that will help the students learn life lessons like politics, ethics, resource management etc. To accomplish this goal, he wants to first gain experience by teaching students to understand the mentality of the students/players and also the methodology behind the art of imparting knowledge.
Amber is an Economics graduate and completed post-graduation in Mass Communication, PR and Advertising from St. Xavier's College. She has started her career in HR but soon shifted to teaching. Currently, she is teaching In Millsberry International School, Kathmandu (grades- 7, 8, 9, 10 - English Language and English Literature and ECS) since February (online). Apart from that I am also teaching in Mastree (part time) - 4 micro teaching points (Reading, writing, speaking and listening) to grades 5 - 12.
Ann Mary is a TEFL certified post graduate in English literature. She is a first rank holder in BA English and Communicative English under the University of Kerala. Presently, she is working as an Assistant Professor of English on contract basis having a year of experience in teaching English language and literature. She has been a student of Asian College of Teachers and has cleared exams like NET, TCBE, MCE and TKT exams. In addition to this, she has experience in the entertainment industry and has dubbed for a short film (Malayalam) named 'Adhithi'.
Anupa is a freelance corporate trainer, storyteller & psychotherapist, having a career spanning over 23+ years. She has worked mostly with sales mainly in customer service. She holds a Master’s in English literature and has studied Transactional Analysis in psychotherapy and NLP.
Ashna is a TEFL graduate from Asian College of Teachers (ACT) and has been working as an English Teacher with one of the most reputed schools of Bangkok for almost 2 years now. She has been associated with ACT ever since she completed TEFL program and is currently pursuing the SEN Diploma Program. She is a language enthusiast who's constantly on the lookout for new adventures.
Damayanti Bhattacharya is an educator with over 30 years of experience and is currently Principal of Jasudben M L School in Mumbai. Prior to that she spent over 20 years at the Cathedral and John Connon School in various roles including Head Mistress of the Cathedral & John Connon Middle School. In 2020, Damayanti was awarded the Iconic Leadership Award for Principals. Damayanti has an MA in English from the University of Calcutta. An ardent fan of classical and contemporary music during her spare time, works actively to contribute to the causes of art, music and animal welfare.
Debalina is a TESOL/TEFL and teacher trainer at Asian College of Teachers (ACT). A language enthusiast and an avid traveller, she holds a double Bachelor’s Degree in International Hospitality Management with Language and Language and Intercultural Communication from the Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland. Being raised in a multicultural and multilingual environment, she grew an interest in knowing the nuances of different languages and how to communicate with empathy. As a result, language learning and language teaching always remained her forte. Previous to ACT, she used to freelance as a public speech consultant to celebrities from the different film industries across the country. Following that she worked as a cabin attendant with Indigo for a brief period.
Dr Mala Sengupta is the Founder and CEO of “ANUBHAV” Institution and recipient of International School Awards, 2018 for Best Teaching. She has worked as a teacher and examiner for 25 years with a commitment to high quality teaching and pedagogical practices. Over the years, she has served as an English teacher (classes VII to XII) and eventually as the Head of the Department of English as well as the Controller of Examination with an ICSE/ISC school and as an examiner with several professional institutions like SUMMIT and PATHFINDER and Engineering College under WBUT. She is also proficient in designing curriculum, developing study material, students’ time table, teachers’ timetable, conducting exams, counselling students, parents, teachers, conducting workshops and training teachers.
Meetika has 4-year experience as junior Economics lecturer imparting training in financial management. However, she aims to be an inspiring and enthusiastic ESL teacher armed with TEFL certification from ACT and ESL Professional Development Course from Oxford Community Schools, Michigan. She is keen on making her students consummate speakers and writers.
Niki has 15+ years of experience in training (online & offline), learning and development of human resources and has experience in Soft skills, Competency Based Behavioural Skill Development, Personality Development Trainings. She has certification in Global Strategic Leadership Learning & Development and Organization Development Fellowship Program by Middle Earth HR (7th largest HR certification body in terms of number of HR professionals) and Carlton Advanced Management Institute, USA. Niki has also completed 360 hours of professional certification course in "International Diploma in Teaching and Training with a specialization in TESOL/TEFL" from Asian College of Teachers.
Sandhya is professional storyteller, project manager, qualified dentist, a certified TESOL teacher and an entrepreneur, with an experience spanning 23 years. She founded Eloquens to train and develop communication skills of an individual, group or groups using a variety of techniques, the primary one being storytelling. She has experience of delivering rich and insightful workshops on storytelling for Corporates, Teachers and Individuals in India, Malaysia and the USA. Sandhya is also a Certified Biblical Storyteller, Academy for Biblical Storytelling, Indiana, USA, Advisory Board Member and Content Curator, Chennai International Storytelling Festival and member and guest performer, Network of Biblical Storytellers, USA. Sandhya, a member of Indian Storytelling Network, works closely for various assignments with Indian and international storytellers, guest performer and storyteller, multicultural church congregations, Houston, Texas, USA.
Shabana Anwar is an MA in Sociology and PGDM in Public Relations. She has also completed her D.el.ed ( Diploma in elementary education). She has a total of 8 years’ experience out of which the first 4 years she worked with a corporate organization as Head of Customer Relations. Later she switched her profile to teaching as she had her interest there and taught English to Upper Kg and Class 1 students for 4 years. Presently, she keeps herself busy as she engages in homeschooling activities, spending her days working, planning and executing fun learning activities for her toddlers.
Suparna, MSc Psychology, is keenly interested in studying the workings of the human mind and has more than 20 years of experience in teaching and counselling. She is appreciated for her therapy sessions with adolescents and life coaching sessions with adults.
